> Is a specific set of steps that will produce this every time?
Not exactly. It happens while browsing the file system from the File -> Open Sound File dialog. Sometimes it crashes when hitting the button to go up a folder; sometimes when double-clicking a folder to enter. But not always on the same folder. It still happens when running Raven Lite as administrator. I haven't used the program extensively enough to know if it crashes during other times as well. Uploaded an error log: http:\\home.comcast.net\~buile\hs_err_pid3536.log I'm using 64-bit Windows 7 Home Premium. Java 6 update 14 is on the machine QuickTime 7.65.17.80 This issue is not critical for me, but may help others. |

Just realized this thread will probably help me out since I am running on Windows 7 and have the Program Files (x86) folder. Apparently you can't reinstall Quicktime into the regular program files folder?
However, I tried to edit the RavenLiteLauncher.lax file and access was denied. I was using Notepad to save as a text file....what program did you use to edit this file? |

Windows 7 has a lot of user access controls set up. These may be preventing you from editing that file. You might try installing Raven Lite to a folder underneath your user home folder, where you have full access rights.

Yes, that's correct. I think I had to right-click notepad and "run as administrator" to edit. |
